L’attribut ou complément du sujet (nom, adjectif ou subordonnée) est lié au sujet par un verbe copule:
Giulia è una bella ragazza. Julia est une belle jeune fille. I bambini sono tristi. Les enfants sont tristes. Gli alunni sembravano arrabbiati. Les élèves paraissaient fâchés.
